It’s a sad day for us around here. Early this afternoon, we said our final goodbyes to our dog, Grace.
I won’t go into the long story. Sufficed to say, we’ve known this was coming for a long time. She was 14 or 15 in human years. Which is something like 100 for a dog.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the last few years…
We named her Grace because dogs really do show us something of True Grace.
As if to put a fine point on it, there’s this, sent to me by David Elliott just a while ago…
“Grace finds beauty in everything.
Grace finds goodness in everything.”
Grace finds goodness in everything.”
I like Bono’s quote from the interview at the end, too.
“I’m holding out for grace…”
Yep. Me too.
