Hey East Texas: Two Shows Coming Up Soon!

Hey East Texas Friends:

I’m gonna be spending some significant time in East Texas, playing two shows in two weekends. One is with the band, and one is a solo show. Here are all the details:

Connections Tribute to Billy Joel and Stevie Wonder
March 5th, 7 pm
Mabank High School Auditorium
Hwy 175 at Hwy 198

The Methodist churches of that area are working hard to create an incredible show that night. They’re hoping to pack out Mabank High School Auditorium.

We’ll be raising money for “Imagine No Malaria.” The ambitious goal of the program is to eradicate malaria from the face of the planet. I get to sing some of my favorite songs from these artists. Songs like “Scenes from An Italian Restaurant,” “Piano Man,” “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” and “My Cherie Amour.”

Eric Folkerth plays
“The Forge” in Ben Wheeler, Texas
March 11th 7 pm

I’m really excited to be playing a solo show at the Forge, a great restaurant that’s taken over the space of the old blacksmith shop in Ben Wheeler. They feature singer-songwriters every weekend. If you haven’t been aware of the very cool things going on in Ben Wheeler, you need to learn more. Click here to learn about The Forge, as well as the rest of the town. There’s tons to do in this small little town, and it’s very cool stuff. Come have dinner and hang out!

Even if you aren’t able to attend this shows, maybe you know somebody nearby the area that might be interested in going. So, please spread the word!
