It’s a rare lazy Sunday for me.

They say photography is being in the right place at the right time. They also say the best camera is the one you have in your hand. So, here are a few shots, just outside these window, here at our family lakehouse…all of them with my trusty old iPhone 4.

I’m grateful for this place that has become a part of my own “quiet center.”

As judge of the 303rd Family District Court, she consistently gets high ratings from area lawyers, and was named “best judge” by The Dallas Observer. First elected in 2004, she was the first Latina ever elected to a county-wide bench in Dallas County, and is currently the longest service district judge in that district. She was re-elected for a fourth term in 2018. They have the world’s best daughter, Maria, and an incredible dog, Daisy.   1. Gorgeous photos! I was wondering the same thing yesterday (about cameras and photos) while taking photos walking through the Otway National Park, Victoria, Australia. Good point – the best camera is the one you have in your hand. Your photos are proof of that. Enjoy a wonderful quiet and healing holiday Eric.
